TH True MILK launches the campaign “Collection of used beverage carton, Spreading Green Lifestyle 2023”



(Ha Noi) - From 15/08 to 31/12/2023, TH Group cooperated with Tetra Pak Vietnam to launch the campaign "Collection of used beverage carton, Spreading Green Lifestyle 2023" at TH true mart stores. This is a familiar annual program of TH true MILK to encourage customers to live greener, contribute to forming the awareness and habit of collecting packaging for recycling in the community, joining hands to protect the environment.

The campaign "Collection of used beverage carton, Spreading Green Lifestyle 2023" is carried out from 8 am to 5 pm every day of the week, during the period from August 15 to December 31, 2023, at 20 TH true mart stores participating in the campaign in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

To join this campaign, consumers only need to clean and fold used milk cartons of all kinds, regardless of brand or manufacturer, and bring it to one of published 20 TH true marts for TH to collect.

At the collection area, customers only need to scan the QR code to participate in the lucky spin for a chance to receive gifts every week. In particular, with this campaign, TH does not limit the minimum number of used beverage cartons to collect each time to be able to receive turns to participate in the lucky spin.

After the customer inputs the collection information according to instructions, every week, the system will automatically select the lucky customers to give 01 gift. As soon as the winning code of the week is confirmed, the system will automatically send the winning E-coupon code to a text message according to the phone number of the customer registering to participate in the program. Every week, 600 E-coupons* to exchange for 01 batch of TH true MILK HILO rich calcium-low fat milk will be sent to lucky customers.

In 2022, the campaign to collect used beverage cartons at TH true mart  had collected nearly 320,000 milk cartons, with the enthusiastic response of more than 15,000 customers of all ages. The "other lives" of hundreds of thousands of used beverage cartons have since been opened.

The composition of beverage cartons consists of 75% paper, 4% aluminum and 21% polymer. In which, the polymer layer is a material with a decomposition time of up to hundreds of years. Through the recycling process, the pulp recovered from the packaging will be used as a production material for environmentally friendly and safe products for users such as cartons, paper bags, notebooks, gift wrapping paper. , etc. Aluminum and polymer components become raw materials for the production of ecological roofing sheets. According to experts' calculations, on average, for every 8,000 used beverage cartons, one ecological roof will be recycled.

By extending the time of the used beverage carton collection campaign (from 2 months in 2022 to 6 months in 2023), TH Group wants to contribute to promoting positive actions to collect/recycle packaging in the community. From there, strengthen activities and solutions to protect the environment, contribute to reducing waste and spreading green lifestyle.
