In the South of Vietnam, Tetra Pak has been collecting used beverage cartons from consumers at AEONMALL shopping malls in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.

In 2023, there are 6 organisations participating in the collection program including: AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd., Tetra Pak Vietnam JSC, Polytex Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd (FEPV), JP CORELEX Co., Ltd (VIETNAM).), ECO Vietnam and Tagom environmental group. With the theme "Recycle Waste - Shape Future" 2023, the collection activity aims to raise awareness about the importance of sorting and recycling waste and sharing waste recycling processes to the community. Through this activation, customers will be able to participate in activities of exchanging waste for gifts; learn about ways of sorting and recycling waste; along with useful educational games for children about the environment. Tetra Pak also set up booths with the theme of used beverage carton recycling from 27th May to 5th June for customers to visit and experience at 5 AEONMALL shopping malls in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Binh Duong.

Products made from recycled materials are displayed at the booths. Along with that, Tetra Pak also implemented practical and interesting activities to contribute to environmental protection such as collecting cleaned used beverage carton, mini-games for sorting waste at the booth.

When participating in the mentioned activities, consumers will have the opportunity to receive meaningful gifts from Tetra Pak by:

• Bring 50 cleaned used beverage cartons and post check-in pictures at Tetra Pak's booth with the program's hashtag (#EcoEvent2023#Taichevohopgiay#TetraPak) on Facebook
• Bring 50 cleaned used beverage cartons and complete the waste segregation games well.

The total number of gifts from Tetra Pak in this program is up to 5,000 pieces, including notebooks, toilet paper and gift wrapping paper recycled from used beverage cartons, canvas bags, and nutritious milk.

This is the second year that Tetra Pak and AEONMALL have cooperated in the used beverage carton collection. In 2022, Tetra Pak together with AEON MALL Vietnam, Saigon Paper JSC and FEPV launched the "Recycle Waste - Protect Future" activation and launched the program of used beverage carton collection to celebrate the World Environment Day in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province. 

In addition to AEONMALL, Tetra Pak also cooperates with other retailers such as Mega Market and partners to continuously expand the network of used beverage carton collection. Up to now, Tetra Pak has 96 public collection points in not only Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City but also many other provinces and cities across Vietnam.
